Yao Xiaowei

Yao Xiaowei, born in December 1980, enrolled in the Art Design program at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 2001, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005; completed a Master's degree at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 2009, earning a Master of Arts degree; currently holds a PhD in Design Studies, serves as a professional teacher at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts with the title of Associate Professor.

My artistic works are distinctive and highly creative, deeply loved by students. Teaching at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, I am dedicated to providing high-quality educational services to students and encouraging them to pursue independent artistic creation. My professional expertise and teaching skills are widely recognized and respected by students.

2008: Series of posters won the Outstanding Award in the Print Category at the 15th China Advertising Festival's Excellent Advertising Works Selection.
2009: Poster selected for the WWF World Wide Fund for Nature's environmental public welfare campaign.
2010: "World Book Day" poster won the Outstanding Award at the "Bo Yue Life, Green China" themed poster design competition.
2012: Cover design for Xi'an Jiaotong University's "Medical Education Research and Practice" magazine was adopted.
2014: "Chinese Elements Series" posters won First Prize in the Poster Category at the China Star Design Awards.
2015: Logo "Fish. Life" received a Nomination Award at the China Star Design Awards.
2016: "Suzhou Impressions Series" posters won First Prize in the Poster Category at the China Star Design Awards.
2019: Logo "Xicheng Bookstore" won the Grand Prize at the China Star Design Awards.
2022: "Xi'an. Keep Going" public welfare poster won First Prize.
2022-2023: Served as a judge for the "Pure Innocence Builds Childhood" National Youth and Children's Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition.
2023: Work received the Outstanding Award at the Xi'an City "Illustrating Party History, Following the Party, Welcoming National Day" Calligraphy and Painting Competition.
